Some welcome rain was recorded over the Eastern Cape over Tuesday night.
The most welcome figures were recorded in the Adelaide and Fort Beaufort where 70 mm was recorded, Graaff Reinet which received 26 mm and Grahamstown with 40 mm.
Even the areas around Kliplaat received 23 mm and the Darlington Dam 41 mm.
A Spokesperson for the SA Weather Office Garth Sampson says some more scattered thunderstorms are expected over the entire province on Wednesday afternoon with some possible good falls and even flooding in the Graaff Reinet area.
