Imran Tahir decimates Pakistan

South Africa were 128-3 at stumps after bowling Pakistan out for 99 on Wednesday's opening day of the second Test in Dubai.

Proteas leg-spinner Imran Tahir came back to haunt Pakistan as he took a career-best 5-32 against the country of his birth.
He received valueable support from Dale Steyn who took 3-38 after Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first.

At stumps, Graeme Smith on 67 and nightwatchman Dale Steyn on three were at the crease with South Africa leading by 29 runs.

The men out were Alviro Petersen for 26, Jacques Kallis for 7 and Dean Elgar for 23 - but South Africa are now in a strong position to share the short two-Test series after losing the first test in Abu Dhabi last week by seven wickets.
