The owners of the ISUZU Southern Kings franchise and Head Coach Deon Davids have mutually agreed to part ways.
Kings Chairman Loyiso Dotwana says they greatly appreciate the hard work Davids has done in laying the foundation for the future.
Dotwana says Davids came in at a very difficult time but was still able to play an instrumental role in bringing stability and focus to the team.
Davids joined the Kings from SWD in 2016 and thanked the Kings for the opportunity to coach at a top level.
He said, however, that its time to hand the reigns to the next head coach.
Davids said he needs to grow further as a coach and looks forward to doing that.
