Final route announced for Bok trophy tour in East London

The first leg of the trophy tour started in Gauteng on Thursday

The Rugby World Cup Champions will touch down at the King Phalo Airport in East London on Sunday.

Buffalo City Metro spokesperson, Samkelo Ngwenya, said their Safety and Security cluster had convened several meetings to manage critical issues related to safety and security during the tour.

He said the first travel point will be in Quigney, Moore Street starting at 10h00 where the leadership of the Country, Province, and Metro will welcome the team.

 

Bok Trophy Route

From Quigney, Moore Street the bus will go left into Moore Street

-Left into John Bailey Road

-Left into Glen Eagles Road

-Onto Pearce Street

-Onto Lukin Road

-Right into Oxford Street

-Left into Amalinda Main Road

-Left into N2

-Onto Fort Jackson on-ramp

-Left into R102/ Old KWT Road

-Right into Golden Highway

-Left into Spine Road

-Onto Qumza Highway

-Onto Mdantsane Access Road

-Right into Alphen Road

-Right into Mdantsane Access Road

-Right into Dunnoon Road

-Left into Douglas Smith Highway

-Right into Windyridge Road

-Onto St John's Road

-Onto St'Peters Road

-Right into Oxford

The tour will end at the East London City Hall.
