Chevrolet Warriors lose to Knights in Ram Slam T-20

Dillon du Preez starred with both bat and ball as the Chevrolet Knights beat the Chevrolet Warriors by five runs in Kimberley on Wednesday night to edge closer to the RAM SLAM T20 play-off berths.
Du Preez hit two sixes and two fours at the end of the Knights innings to boost their total to 145 for six, then claimed figures of 2 for 17 from three overs as the Warriors were restricted to 140 for six in reply.
The victory moved the Knights on to 12 points from seven matches and, although it didn't shift them up in the standings, they are now in reach of the teams above them.
The Cobras are way out in front on 25 points - and took another step towards a home-final as they beat the Titans by 13 runs at Newlands.
The Dolphins climb above the Warriors into second place on 15 points after beating the Lions by 16 runs in Durban.
The Warriors drop to 3rd on 14 points and next play the 4th placed Titans on 12 points in a crucial tie in East London on Friday evening.
