Democratic Alliance leader Helen Zille will be in Nelson Mandela Bay on Thursday.
That's to honour the legacy of slain Black Consciousness leader Steve Biko.
Last September, Zille was due to give a public lecture at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University to DA students on Biko's legacy.
However, this request was turned down at the time by university management, because it conflicted with another lecture that had been planned by the Centre for the Advancement of Non-Racialism and Democracy.
Zille's spokesperson, Cameron Arendse, says the DA leader has two public engagement in the Metro.
"Helen Zille will be visiting the recently restored mural of the apartheid activist Steve Biko in his cell that he was detained in, in Walmer police station. She will then be at NMMU where she will give an open lecture entitled "Honour your past and own your future". She will specifically address DASO students" he said.
