Youth arrested for murder in Sedgefield

 Southern Cape police have arrested an 18 year-old youth in connection with a murder at a tavern in Smutsville in Sedgefield.

Police captain Bernadine Steyn says the suspect was involved in an argument with 20 year old Romeo Slingers.

She says he allegedly stabbed Slingers once in the neck and he died on the scene.

Steyn says the suspect will appear in the Knysna Magistrates' court on Tuesday.
