Police in Cradock have registered a Rape docket for investigation after an incident that took place on the farm Karoo waters in the Cradock area.
It is alleged that the victim was on her way back from school on Tuesday when she was forcefully taken to a house by the suspect and allegedly raped.
Police captain Stefanie Smith says the victim alleges that she was only released by the suspect the following day.
Smith says the suspect is known to the victim and an arrest is expected to be made soon.
