Two suspects have appeared in the Beaufort-West Magistrates court on Thursday in connection with the rape of two minor children.
Police spokesperson, Catain Malcom Potjie, says the suspects aged 20 and 17 were arrested last week for the brutal rape of a 10-year old girl and a 16-year old boy.
He says the little girl sustained severe injuries and was admitted to the local hospital for further medical treatment.
Both accused cannot be named as they have not yet pleaded.
Potjie says the matter was postponed to the 16th of July for further investigation.
