A well known gang leader in Port Elizabeth's northern areas has been sentenced to 14 years imprisonment for the attempted murder of a 23 year-old man from Gelvandale.

Van Rensburg says Felix was given the lengthy prison term after being convicted of firing a number of shots at the 23 year-old and wounding him in the leg on Saturday the 8th of March. Felix was arrested two days later.

He was sentence to a total of 14 years in prison for attempted murder and for the illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
