A 23-year-old Port Elizabeth man was gunned down in Schauderville late Monday afternoon.
Police spokesperson, warrant officer Alwin Labans, says Lorenzo Jordaan, was shot by two men who were dropped off by a third suspect driving a blue VW Polo.
He says Jordaan was hit three times and died on the scene.
Several people standing with him at a house in Jameson Road fled as the shooting began.
Labans says the motive for the shooting is not yet known as Jordaan was not a known gang member.
However, he says the alleged shooters are members of a gang known as the Spot Bouers who are active in the Betheldsdorp area.
