The ANC Youth League says an ANC rally in the Eastern Cape - set to be addressed by President Jacob Zuma - is an "act of sabotage".
The league says in a statement the swiftly organised rally is nothing but a blatant and immature act to sabotage the activities of the ANCYL.
The organisation says it had organised its own rally two months ago to honour ANC stalwart OR Tambo in Bizana on Saturday.
Zuma is set to address a rally organised by the provincial executive committee in the same area on Sunday.
The YL says it has decided to postpone its rally, which Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe was set to address.
ANC spokesperson, Jackson Mthembu says it seems there have been a lack of co-ordination between the YL and the ANC in the Eastern Cape.
He says Zuma was requested "months ago" by the PEC to address them.
