Would be robbers arrested in Despatch

 Uitenhage police have arrested three suspects for an alleged attempt to rob a person in Despatch.

Police warrant officer Gerda Swart says police noticed a silver VW polo driving down Caledon Street in Uitenhage yesterday.

Police ordered the vehicle to pull over and recovered various motor breaking elements and several banking cards.

Further leads will be followed up on Friday to determine the origin of the bank cards.

The suspects will appear in the Uitenhage Magistrates court soon.
