A search is underway in Port St Johns for a local resident who was swept off the rocks while sitting with a companion from the United States.
The NSRI says American evangelist, Abby Sullee, was plucked from the sea at the Gap by the skipper of the shark diving charter vessel, Rob Nettleton.
The search for the other woman is still continuing.
NSRI spokesperson, Craig Lambinon, says the American woman and her husband were guests of the missing Port St Johns resident.
