A 38-year-old woman has been shot and killed execution-style by two unknown suspects in Motherwell in Nelson Mandela Bay.
Police spokesperson, Captain Andre Beetge, said Bulelwa Mene was killed just before five o'clock on Wednesday afternoon after returning home from work.
He said Mene's 15-year-old daughter had greeted her at her vehicle, a grey VW Jetta when the suspects approached and ordered the daughter to get into the vehicle.
"Bulelwa was then shot in the head by one of the suspects, after which they fled the scene in a silver Toyota Tazz," Beetge said.
He said the daughter was unharmed and that nothing was taken from the victims.
"Police suspect that this could be a targeted murder," Beetge said.
He appealed to anyone who can assist the police investigation to contact the Eastern Cape Provincial Organised Crime Investigation Unit, Lieutenant-Colonel Willie Mayi at 082 697 5914 or call 08600 10111.
