A woman has been killed in a car accident between Cradock and Tarkastad in the Eastern Cape.
Provincial traffic department spokesperson, Tshepo Machaea says the accident happened in the early hours of Saturday morning on the R61.
He says two men were seriously injured when the sedan in which they were travelling lost control and overturned.
Police are investigating.
Meanwhile, a toddler was killed and her mother critically injured when the taxi in which they were travelling crashed near Ladysmith on Friday evening.
KwaZulu-Natal Emergency Medical Services spokesperson, Robert Mckenzie says the mother is seven months pregnant.
He says the driver was seriously injured in the accident.
The injured were taken to a nearby hospital.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
