Police have released the name of the woman who was found shot dead inside her car on the R102 near Jeffreys Bay.
Spokesperson Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli the 69-year-old Anna Magrieta Gouws was found in her Ford Bantam bakkie with a gunshot wound to the chest on Friday.
Her body was found in the driver's seat but the key to her car was missing.
W/O Nkohli says there was also no gun found at the scene.
A case of murder is under investigation and no arrests have been made.
