Plettenberg Bay police are investigating the murder of a woman whose body was found on Monday afternoon in her home in the Schoongezigt Country Estate, in Piesang Valley Road.
Police have identified the victim as said the 63-year-old Penelope Cumming.
Police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie, says a post-mortem will be done this week to determine the exact cause of death.
He says police were called to the scene on Monday afternoon when they found her naked body inside the house.house.
Pojie says no arrests have been made but they do have a person of interest, whose identikit will be shared with the media in due course.
The woman's burned-out vehicle was reportedly found in Nekkies at Knysna.
