Woman dies on N2 near Rowallan Park

A woman has died and a man was seriously injured in an accident on the N2 near Rowallan Park in Port Elizabeth.
Police spokesperson, Captain Johann Rheeder, says the accident happened just after midnight.

He says a Nissan X-Trail smashed into the back of the moving truck, killing the 37-year-old woman who was a passenger in the vehicle instantly.

The driver was seriously injured and has been admitted to hospital.

The truck driver was not injured.
