Eastern Cape premier Noxolo Kiviet will lead her first Exco Outreach Programme to Buffalo City this week - since the municipality attained its metropolitan status.
During the Outreach Programme, which runs through to Wednesday, the premier will inspect a R75m human settlements project that includes 947 housing units.
Premier Kiviet, accompanied by the full Executive Council, will engage the local leadership led by the Executive Mayor of Buffalo City, Councillor Zukiswa Ncita on Tuesday.
The outreach visit will be the third such visit over the past two months following Cacadu District Municipality and the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro last month.
