Woman attacks boyfriend with boiling water

A Butterworth woman is due to appear in court on Thursday on a charge of attempted murder.

She was arrested this week for allegedly throwing boiling water onto her boyfriend.

Police spokesperson, captain Jackson Manatha, says the 38 year old man was treated in hospital and discharged.

He says the two had argued after he arrived at her house to visit his children.
