Uitenhage police are investigating a case of house robbery after a 28 year-old woman was attacked on her farm by three suspects on Tuesday night.
Warrant officer Basil Seekoei says the incident happened on the farm "Welcome Home" in the Elandsriver area outside Rocklands just afer 7pm.
Seekoei says 3 men accosted the woman outside the farm house. One of the suspects pointed a shotgun at her and the other two carried knifes.
They forced the victim into the farm house and tied her hands with cable ties and demand excess to the safe.
Seekoei says the robbers took five rifles, a revolver with ammunition, and an undisclosed amount of cash.
The fled in the farm owner's Ford Ranger Double Cab which was later recovered in the Motherwell area.
Seekoei says the woman managed to free herself and seek help on a neighbouring farm.
The suspects are still at large and anyone with information is asked to contact the Uitenhage police.
