Police in Kabega Park are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 24-year-old mother and her daughter who were last seen in Komani in November 2019.
Spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, said Sharlene Corbett is believed to have fetched her daughter, Harmonini Corbett from her mother’s house in PE in August last year, informing her that they were going to live with her father in Komani.
Naidu said when Mr Corbett returned home on an evening in November after their move to Komani, he discovered that both his daughter and granddaughter were missing.
All their clothes were gone as well.
She said the child’s biological father reported them missing at the Kabega Park police station in March this year.
The family believes that Sharlene and her child might be living in KwaZulu-Natal at the moment.
Anyone with information regarding their whereabouts is urged to contact the police.
