A karate coach from Wilderness appeared in the George Regional Court on Tuesday on charges of the creation and possession of child pornography.
The 37-year-old man was arrested last August following a tip-off to the police.
Members of the George Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit confiscated a laptop and a desktop computer belonging to the karate sensei during the arrest.
The man teaches karate to children in the George and Knysna area.
He was released last year on bail of R5000 and has not pleaded on the charges against him and therefore cannot yet be identified.
During Tuesday's court proceedings his attorney asked and was granted a postponement as new charges hade been added to the existing charge sheet.
He will be back in court again on 17 August.
