Autopsy on Uitenhage man found dead in front of house

An autopsy is expected to be carried out on Tuesday to determine the cause of death of a man whose body was found in front of his house in Uitenhage last Friday. 

Police warrant officer Basil Seekoei says the brother of 41 year-old Jannie Nortjie was contacted and informed that a family member was lying life-less in front of the house. 

Seekoei says the man had a very weak pulse and no visible injuries and passed away shortly after paramedics arrived at the scene. 

Anyone with information on what could have happened to Nortjie is asked to contact the Uitenhage police.
