Disaster relief efforts in KZN and the Eastern Cape in the Matatiele area have turned to ensuring everyone affected by this week's devastating veld fires, are being assisted, either with livestock feed; food and shelter or fencing.
The Mount Currie Farmers Association is still helping to co-ordinate efforts, but Margi Fleming says Disaster Management has been hugely helpful.
Areas between Cedarville and Kokstad are hardest hit.
Fleming says there were three more runaway fires on Wednesday, which destroyed additional grazing land.
She says while they still need a great deal of assistance, they're grateful for all the help they've received - even from as far as Port Elizabeth
