Port Elizabeth police have arrested a suspect in Kwadesi for the illegal possession of tik and a stolen firearm.
Police spokesperson, Captain Andre Beetge says the 30-year old man was arrested on Wednesday, after police received information through a community police forum.
Beetge says the firearm in his possession was a revolver reported stolen during a housebreaking in Kabega Park earlier in May.
The suspect will appear in court on Friday.
Meanwhile, police have also arrested a 40-year old female suspect for the possession of tik, dagga and other household items.
Beetge says the woman was arrested on Tuesday in Kwadesi after the community informed police of suspicious dealings at the house in Barayi street.
