Western Cape parliamentarians will debate the provincial budget tabled earlier this month by Minister Allan Windy.
On the First of this month, Windy tabled a budget of R39.8b for the 2012/2013 financial year.
The lions share of the Western Cape budget went to Education and Health.
Minister Windy said a key focus of the new financial year for the Western Cape will be the rollout of the Western Cape Economic Development Partnership, a cross-sector body that will lead, coordinate and drive the province's economic delivery system.
Details of this partnership initiative were unveiled to business and other stakeholders in the Garden Route last week.
