Welcome rain falls in catchment areas

The PE Branch of the SA weather service reports that although only 4 mm of rain was measured at the Port Elizabeth airport up until 8 o'clock on Wednesday morning, some welcome rain fell in the catchment areas in the Langkloof where between 15 and 20 mm was measured.

It's good news for the combined level of Nelson Mandela Bay's main supply dams, which have dropped off slightly in recent weeks and currently sit at around 54% of capacity.
