Dutywa Police have arrested four people for possession of fire arms and live rounds of ammunition.
Butterworth police captain Jackson Manatha says the suspects aged 20, 25, 27 and 28 were arrested at Drayini Location at Dutywa in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Manatha says police acted on a tip-off and swopped on the suspects at various homes in the township.
They seized two 9 millimetre pistols, a shot gun, a number of rounds of ammunition for both weapons and a plasma television set.
Manatha says the men have already been linked with various house robberies in the area.
The suspects are being held in custody and will appear in the Dutywa magistrate's court soon.
