Two people died after they got trapped in their vehicle that overturned due to heavy rain in Bonnievale on Wednesday.
The storm that hit the Western Cape caused significant damage and flooding across the Cape Winelands.
In Robertson and Hermanus 41 mm has been measured. Swellendam 45 mm and Grabouw 58 mm.
In Cape Town between 6 mm and 14 mm has been measured so far. The Tsitsikamma region has received 48 mm.
Struisbaai received 115 mm of rain and homes had to be evacuated.
The Minister of Local Government, Environmental Affairs and Development Planning, Anton Bredell says emergency services worked tirelessly throughout the night.
Widespread rain and strong winds are expected to continue across large parts of the Western Cape throughout the day.
