The Minister of Water and Sanitation, Senzo Mchunu will be in the Eastern Cape this week for a series of engagements with Premier Oscar Mabuyane and the provincial leadership to assess and resolve the water challenges in the Province.
Department spokesperson, Sputnik Ratau says they will visit the Ndlambe Amatola Water Project and the Sea Water Reverse Osmosis Plant in Port Alfred on Wednesday.
He says the Minister will also undertake a site visit to the Tsomo Water Treatment Works that seeks to bring a permanent water solution to the Chris Hani and Amathole District Municipalities.
