The wage dispute in the clothing and textile sector could soon be settled.
That's according to the SA Clothing and Textile Workers' Union, which said employer associations had all confirmed that they had received firm mandates from their constituencies to settle the wage dispute.
Sactwu secretary-general, Andre Kriel says this is a major step in avoiding a national strike by 80 000 clothing industry workers.
