Two more by-elections to be held in EC

The Independent Electoral Commission says two more by-elections will be held in the Eastern Cape.

The IEC says by-elections will be held in Tarkastad Ward 5 and Mbizana Ward 11 on September 17th.

In the 2011 local government election, the Tarkastad Ward was won by an independent candidate who took 48.2% of the vote, and in Mbizana, the ANC won the ward taking 96.3% of the vote.

The IEC has scheduled by-elections for August 27th but none will be held in the Eastern Cape.
