Police have released the names of the two men who burnt to death in a horror accident near Humandsorp.
The 28-year-old Terwin Adriaanse and the 29-year-old Roan Abraham Dreyer were killed when their Opel Corsa collided with a Mazda 5 on Friday last week.
The driver of the Mazda was travelling from Plettenberg Bay and was rushed to hospital with five other passengers who were injured in the accident.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Majola Nkohli said the formal process of identifying the deceased was only finalised on Tuesday.
Provincial traffic said the accident occurred on a stretch of road that is under construction.
Kareedouw police have opened up a culpable homicide docket.
