A man who died in a motorcycle accident in Uitenhage on Sunday has been identified.
Police spokesperson Captain Gerda Swart says the 21-year-old Gavin Kriel was killed following a collision between two motor vehicles in Caledon Street.
She says it is alleged that Ford Kouga, Toyota Etios and the bike travelled in opposite directions when the accident occurred at about 5 pm.
Kriel was formally identified by his family.
A case of culpable homicide is under investigation.
