Port Elizabeth police are searching for 4 armed men, who hijacked a company vehicle in Walmer Township on Friday morning.
Spokesperson, Capt. Stanley Jarvis says the suspects held up two employees of a tabacco company, while they delivered cigarettes at a spaza shop.
He says the suspects took cellphones, and fled in the company's VW Transporter, which was loaded with cartons of cigarettes, valued at R190-thousand.
Jarvis says the vehicle was traced, and found empty and abandoned not far from the scene.
He says no shots were fired, and no-one was injured.
No arrests have yet been made, and police are investigating cases of vehicle hijaking and armed robbery.
