Body of teenager found in Centane

Eastern Cape police are investigating a case of murder, after a community member found the body of young man estimated to be 18 years old in Centane.

Spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha says the man was still alive when he was found.

He had numerous injuries around the upper body.

Manatha says he was rushed to Butterworth hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

The motive for the murder is not known, and no arrests have yet been made.
