Port Elizabeth police are investigating a case of murder following the death of a 40-year old woman at Veeplaas.
Police spokesperson, warrant officer Thembi Gwe says Thandiwe Bless was shot several times on Sunday night while parking her car in Mabhabhela street.
Gwe says Bless was reportedly dropping off a friend when she was bumped by a Red Opel Kadette.
She says both parties confronted each other and an argument ensued.
Gwe says the suspect fled but the vehicle, which was reported stolen earlier this month in a hijacking, was later recovered in Zwide.
No arrests have been made.
