Alexandria High School will not suspend the academic programme on Wednesday, despite the school being vandalised.
Twenty-two children, aged between 11 and 12, trashed every classroom and broke windows and other infrastructure last week.
School principal, Aldy Meyer says it's going to be difficult to implement a normal school programme, amid a clean-up processs which is already underway.
Meyer says the school plans to accommodate all 700 learners between grade R and 12 in the hall and avoid areas where electricity fittings are affected by water.
Meanwhile, six learners from schools in Alexandria appeared in court on Tuesday afternoon in connection with the vandalism.
Police spokesperson, Lt Luvuyo Mjekula says the case was postponed until Wednesday, when a decision on a suitable punishment is expected to be made.
