Van Stadens River bridge claims another victim

Police and emergency services were at the notorious Van Stadens River brigde outside Port Elizabeth on Saturday, where a woman jumped to her death.

Police spokesperson, WO Marianette Olivier says the 51-year old Port Elizabeth woman jumped just after 10 o'clock on Saturday morning.

She says the name of the deceased is not known, and will be released as soon as her next-of-kin have been informed.
