Unknown woman killed in PE accident

Police in Port Elizabeth are investigating a case of culpable homicide after an unknown female died in a single-vehicle accident on Monday morning.

Police spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge says the accident happened at about 1. 30 am on the M19 by the Redhouse turnoff.

He says it is suspected that the driver of a black Polo lost control and overturned.

Beetge says the identity of the victim is still unknown at this stage but she is believed to be in her thirties.
