Port Elizabeth police are investigating a murder case after an unknown man's body was found lying next to Connacher Street in New Brighton.
Police spokesperson, Constable Mncedi Mbombo, says the man, believed to be in his thirties, was found by New Brighton police at around 2:30 on Monday morning.
He had several stab wounds to the upper body.
Mbombo says he was wearing pink trouser, red T-shirt, red jacket and brown shoes,
The motive of the murder is unknown.
Meanwhile, Mthatha police are also investigating a murder case, after a 62-year-old woman's body was found with stab wounds in Mhlakulo
Lieutenant Colonel, Mzukisi Fatyela, says the body was found outside her home by residents on Sunday.
Fatyela says the motive for the attack is still unknown.
