Eastern Cape police have appealed to the public to assist in the identification of a man who died in a car accident on the N2 near Nanaga between Port Elizabeth and Grahamstown.
Police spokesperson, Captain Milanda Coetzer, says the victim was a hitchhiker.
The road was closed for 3 hours, following Monday's accident.
A critically injured 15-year old girl was airlifted to Greenacres-hospital in Port Elizabeth.
While the N2 was closed, a truck transporting buffalo was also involved in an accident not far away.
