The University of South Africa (Unisa) has warned students that certain examination papers scheduled to be written during the May/June 2019 have been compromised.
The University reported the matter to the Commercial Crimes Investigation unit, which will be embarking on an intensive investigation to establish where the lead came from.
Unisa will also initiate a forensic audit of their processes in order the ensure that these are secure.
Students are encouraged not to participate in such fraudulent activities as it will be referred to the Student Disciplinary Unit for investigation.
Should a student be found guilty of contravening the Student Disciplinary Code, their modules will be cancelled and marks withdrawn.
