Uitenhage police are investigating a case of culpable homicide, after a 34-year old woman was killed in a car accident on the M19 between Despatch and Redhouse on Friday morning.
Spokesperson, Warrant Officer Basil Seekoei says two women were driving from Kwanobuhle towards Port Elizabeth at around 3.30 am, when the 32-year old driver lost control of the vehicle and it overturned.
He says the passenger died at the scene, while the driver was rushed to a private hospital in Uitenhage.
