A 28-year-old woman has appeared in court in connection with a double murder in Kwanobuhle in Uitenhage at the end of March.
The case against Phumeza Holland was postponed to next Friday for a formal bail application.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Basil Seekoei, says Holland was arrested last Thursday in connection with the murders of 37-year-old Nomabotwe Madlakane and her 43-year-old sister, Vuyise Sawula.
Their bodies were found by Madlakane's husband who returned from a late shift at work.
Three minor children were in the house at the time of the killings but were not harmed.
