Uitenhage police investigate a case of culpable homicide

Uitenhage police are investigating a case of culpable homicide following a head on colision on the N2 near Wittelsbos, Stormsriver.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Gerda Swart says a horse and trailer and a courier truck collided head on late on Thursday night.

Swart says a 24-year old man from Cape Town traveling to Port Elizabeth passed away at the scene.

She says the other driver sustained slight injuries.
