Uitenhage police are hunting for three men who stormed into a house in Ross Gradwell Street on Wednesday afternoon and threatened a woman and her two children with firearms.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Majola Nkohli, said the men covered the 53-year-old woman and her two teenage children with towels before stealing clothing, cell phones, jewellery, a laptop, and cash before fleeing.
He said it is unknown if a getaway car was used.
"Police are investigating a case of house robbery and detectives are following up on all possible leads.
