Uitenhage police have arrested 2 suspects for being in possession of fifteen Merino sheep suspected to be stolen.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Basil Seekoei, says the suspects aged 32 and 48 were arrested on Tuesday following a tip off from a local farmer.
Seekoei says a Ford Courier bakkie was also seized.
The suspects will appear in court on Thursday on a charge of possession of stolen property.
Any farmers in the area who can assist in identifying the sheep are asked to contact the Uitenhage stock theft unit.
